  • Biltong is a form of dried, cured meat which originated in Southern Africa. It is made from various cuts and types of meat and is seasoned with salt, pepper and a mix of spices.

  • Biltong is cured in vinegar, air dried and flavoured with a mix of spices.

    Jerky is marinated with spices and flavourings, then cooked with heat.

    The difference in process makes Biltong softer, thinner and more flavoursome than jerky, which tends to be drier, smokier, and chewier.

  • Biltong is packed with protein, high in vitamin B-12 and is a great source of essential vitamins and minerals while being low in carbs. It’s particularly rich in iron.

    Biltong is Keto friendly and has no added preservatives.
